MIMARU Tokyo Nihombashi Suitengumae

This was our second family trip to Tokyo, so we knew how important the hotel’s location and room size would be. We’re a family of five (three adults and two kids) and stayed in the Family Apartment Room — it was perfect! The beds were all comfortable, and the room included cooking facilities and a spacious dining area, ideal for family meals. The hotel’s location was also very convenient, with several train lines accessible within 10–15 minutes. From there, we easily explored Toyosu Fish Market, Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Ginza, Asakusa, Ikebukuro, and even the Grandberry Park outlet mall.

Warm, friendly and helpful staff. Apartment was the perfect size for a family of four with good use of space to not feel cramped and have some living room area. The location was better than expected and was within a short walk to one station and a moderate walk to a couple of others really making access to a lot of things easy. It was the perfect place to be both close to Disney and close to the lines to get to all other places we wanted to visit. The local shops and restaurants were also both convenient and varied but also some great food nearby.

It was truly a home away from home. The room was spacious, clean, equipped with everything a traveler may need to relax, feel comfortable and even take care of their own meals. Yet the most precious asset is the staff - everyone on the front desk team went above and beyond to help us make the best out of our stay: what to see, how to get there, what to explore. My 12-year old was particularly excited about the bingo game, which is a fun way to get to know the hidden gems of the neighbourhood. The bus terminal (Tokyo City Air Terminal) for the airport shuttles (or "limousine" buses), as well as the Hanzamon line subway station is in 5-minutes walk from the hotel. All major tourist hotspots (Skytree, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara) can be reached in 15-30 minutes by boarding a subway train. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, convenience stores in close proximity to the hotel (some of them are literally around the corner). This was our first trip to Japan, but it will definitely not be the last :) we hope to come back there some day soon.

Loved being walking distance to food choices. Staff put together a great list of food places. The yakinini place on the list was one of the highlights. Staff at the hotel were so helpful, accommodating, exceptional service. Close to train station, staff made a great guide to the train that was so easy to use! The room though was perfect, loved that it was a great use of space with luggage area, hangar area, two twins were actually together vs in Akasuka they were separate.

There was enough room for everyone, tall, adult children still fit in the bunk beds. Showers were good. Good wifi. Super close to the subway stop. They were able to store our luggage after checkout. Staff was nice and spoke English. Coffee and tea offered in the lobby to make in your room.
